President and Executive Vice President Acquire Fruta Vida International Inc with Plans for New MLM Structure Launch
COEUR D'ALENE, ID - July 31, 2009 - It was announced today that global multi-level marketing company Fruta Vida International Inc., owned by Anthony Shaw, has entered into a Contract for Sale with the current executive leadership team of President, Dean Field, and Executive Vice President, Stephanie Field.
Fruta Vida International Inc. started in December 2004 as a sister company to Pro Image International Inc., also owned by Mr. Shaw. Fruta Vida International Inc. launched with incredible success due to a top-selling Superfood formula in the company's signature functional health product -- Fruta Vida "The Taste of the Rainforest". As the original Acai' Superfood juice formula launched in the United States, the product formula remains untouched today and loved by thousands of customers and independent distributors in the US and many international countries.
"The growth in Fruta Vida and the marketing behind this successful product is due in large part to the executive team I put together in early 2006," said Anthony Shaw. "I was lucky to find a couple of individuals that had passion in this product and passion in the network marketing industry to develop a solid team in Fruta Vida's executive office. It has always been my intention to allow these two individuals who have put their heart and soul into my company the chance to own their passion, and today it is with great pride that I announce my decision to enter into a Contract for Sale of Fruta Vida International Inc. to Dean and Stephanie Field."
Effective August 1, 2009, Fruta Vida International's current multi-level structure will be put on hold. "As a network of thousands of distributors and thousands more customers," said Dean Field, President, "Stephanie and I look forward to making significant enhancements to the company that will positively impact those distributors and customers while maintaining the key values and formulas that have made it successful to this point. These changes will be made over the next few months as we first enter a 'pre-launch' stage and ultimately launch our new plan October 2009."
As indicated by Stephanie Field, "A few of the changes we have planned will be implemented immediately. For instance, we are lowering the prices of our products by 25% or more effective August 1st. We understand the economic climate today and this allows us to bring these great products to the consumer at a more cost effective price point. These price changes will happen automatically for our Autoship customers, and others will be able to see them online or by calling in. Other changes you might see right away are your personalized websites and back offices and an aggressive 'We Want You Back!' promotion for our previous customers and distributors." She concludes with, "You can rest easy, though, knowing that when you call into Fruta Vida, you will still be talking to the same friendly customer service reps that have been with us for years and we will continue to ship your favorite products daily while these new enhancements are developing toward launch."
In the coming weeks, the look and feel of the new Fruta Vida International will begin to develop while member services for existing customers and distributors will remain intact. Although the company headquarters will now be officially located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the majority of daily functions have been working through that location seamlessly for weeks and customers and distributors should not see a significant change in moving the headquarters from Austin, TX.
